The Exhibitors

At the Guild Show, approximately 50 knifemakers exhibit, plus allied crafts and materials and equipment suppliers. All types of knives are usually on display, from miniatures to swords, folders to hunters, art daggers to kitchen utilities. Materials range from hi-tech steels to own forged damascus, mammoth ivory to micarta, and horn, bone and unique African hardwoods. South African knifemakers have developed a deserved reputation for quality at international shows all over the world.

Further Information

Should you wish to attend one of the South African knife shows we would love to be of assistance to you. Our best advice is to correlate plans and intentions through the Guild chairman, Kevin Harvey, and to supply names of knifemakers who you may have met previously. Mention what you would like to do during your trip, and let us see where we can be of help or offer advice. It is in our real interest to help make your trip a successful and memorable experience.

You may wish to visit other South African attractions during your stay. We do not function as a travel agency but may well be able to put you in touch with the right instances if we are aware of your intentions. We shall be pleased to answer further queries you may have.
