Born and raised in South Africa, I developed a great love for the outdoor life. The Bushveld, rivers and the ocean, form an integral part of my life. As a keen hunter, the need for a good knife arose. In1985 I paid my first visit to a knife show and the bug for knife making bit.
I make knives on a part time basis. I became a member of the ‘South African knife maker’s guild’ in March 1986, using files, a small drill press and a hacksaw to as the only tools to shape my knives.
I work from a one man workshop. All knives are made, using the best materials available. My aim is to produce a wide variety of quality folding and fixed blade knives for the collector and discerning user, thereby striving for the highest degree of craftsmanship possible.
