Chris Reeve
Chris was born in Durban, and lived in the Pinetown area until he emigrated to the USA in 1989. He started making knives as a hobby in 1975 and became a fulltime knifemaker in January 1984. He became a member of KGSA in 1983 and of the USA Knifemakers Guild in 1990.

Known world-wide as the designer and maker of the Sebenza folding knife, Chris has set the standard for quality and performance. His One Piece fixed blade range has sold consistently for almost 20 years and the newest addition, the Nkonka, has raised the standards bar again for innovative design and exceptional execution.

Chris Reeve Knives is proud to be the manufacturer of the "Yarborough”, the knife that is presented to each graduate from the U.S. Army Special Forces "Q Course", the training program that gives graduates the honor of wearing the "Green Beret". A very similar version, known as "The Green Beret" knife, is available to other military units and to all civilians.

Located in Boise, Idaho, in the beautiful north western part of the United States, Chris Reeve Knives is a small but dynamic company that has made a considerable mark on sporting, outdoor and military knives all over the world.
